Joys of Boys

I have enjoyed being the mom of twin girls, but there is something very special about being the mother of boys.

Having boys has given me the ability to say things that I would never have the opportunity to say otherwise.

Stuff like:

• "Don't hit your brother with a shoe."
• "Don't lick the floor at the mall, I don't care how shiny it is."
• "Crayons are not weapons."
  

Today as I drove my 4 year old son home from Pre-K, he told me that he loves everybody, except one kid in his class.

"Why don't you like him?" I asked.

"He calls people poo-poo heads. That's a BAD WORD Mommy, so I don't like him 'cause he use BAD WORDS!"
