Kids birthday parties at The Little Gym
The Little Gym advertises "Awesome Birthday Bash" for ages 1-12 on their brochure, and that's exactly what they do! I went to a 4-year-old's birthday party there yesterday, and it was wonderful. Very organized and the kids had a blast. I noticed the birthday boy's mom was able to actually enjoy the party and take photos.
You have the entire gym to yourselves and the party guests during the party. It's completely instructor led. The parties at Little Gym last 1-1/2 hours. The first hour is spent inside the gym. The kids enjoy some free play time then games and obstacle courses. The final 1/2 hour is spent in the party room for traditional birthday stuff like cake, presents, pictures, etc.
Currently the schedule for birthday parties at the Little Gym is Saturdays at 2 pm and 4 pm, Sundays at 1, 3, and 5 pm. Prices are for up to 15 participating guests.
Keep in mind this is all subject to change, but a party is $250 right now. Each additional child is $8. If you have twins or a buddy to share a birthday, the additional birthday child at the same party is $30. Sometimes you can add another 30 minutes to your party for $50.
What do you get for the money? You get the invitations - addressed, stamped, and mailed for you (I really like that one!), a trained party leader with an assistant, all set-up and clean up, all paper goods (plates, forks, napkins), juice box for each child, T-shirt for birthday child.
You will need to provide the guest list at least 3 weeks before the party, goody bags or party favors if you are going to have them, birthday cake and other food. You will need to book your party 6-10 weeks before the celebration day to schedule. The Little Gym requires a non-refundable deposit of $100 for them to hold your birthday spot.
Children should wear comfortable clothing that's suitable for running and playing. The children play barefoot.
For more information, please contact The Little Gym, 1250 Scenic Hwy, Suite 1248, Lawrenceville GA 30045 (Part of the Avenue Webb Gin shops, near Red Robin). 770-982-0901
