Teenagers pulled from frozen pond

The boys, ages 14 and 15, were attempting to walk across the pond when they fell through said Captain Tommy Rutledge with Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency ...

Gwinnett County's Swift Water Rescue Team as well as the Hall County Dive Team responded to the 2800 block of Daniel Park Run around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Rescue crews used a helicopter to help locate the boys under the ice. It took them over 40 minutes to pull the boys from the water. Rescue crews said they were in about 8 to 10 feet of water.

The teens were transported to Gwinnett Medical Center. Their conditions have not yet been released.

I am very sorry to report that two of the teenagers died.
