In observation of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, on Saturday, April 24th, there will be a Freecycle Swap event at the Elizabeth H. Williams (Snellville) library branch. The library is located at 2740 Lenora Church Road.
Here's how this works - you donate an item you're no longer using. You drop off your donated items on Friday, April 23 or Saturday morning, April 24th. You will receive a token that gives you early admission for the swap.
With your donation/token, you can attend the swap on Saturday April 24th from 2 pm to 4 pm. Those who give stuff away get to have first chance to pick items to take, which is only fair!
Then, from 4 to 5 pm, the Freecycle Swap is open to all. People are encouraged to come and take an item they can use. This keeps usable stuff out of landfills.
