What is Trunk or Treat? It's like trick or treating, except instead of going from house to house, you go from car trunk to trunk in a parking lot (usually at a church). We tried for the first time last year. Now I think I prefer it.It's a lot of fun for everyone involved, because the people who give out the candy actually WANT to have trick or treaters come to their car. People decorate their cars, and it's really festive.
Cannon United Methodist Church will have a Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm. This allows the event to finish up in plenty of time so you can still do the traditional door-to-door trick or treating if you want to do that.
Cannon UMC will also have a pizza dinner served from 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm for $2 per person.
There will be a Veggie Tales movie playing for the kids to enjoy while they eat.
