PUBLIC SALE Thurs. Oct. 1 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
HALF PRICE SALE Sat. Oct. 3 9a.m.-1 p.m.
PICK-UP DAY Sat. Oct. 3 4-5 p.m.
(Items left after 5pm are donated to charity)
50 sellers will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis. You MUST provide all requested information and have a confirmed drop-off time to complete your registration. After the first 50 sellers are registered, a waiting list will be generated. Individuals on the waiting list will be notified if space comes available. If a registered seller “no-shows” for their scheduled drop-off time, that seller will not be accepted for the next sale. Information needed for registration: name, mailing address, telephone number where you may be reached during the sale, and your preference for drop-off day/time. We do accept I.D. numbers/tags from other sales. There is a minimum of 25 inspected items to shop the presale.
Contact Julie Temples at Julie.sale@windstream.net to complete your registration. During your scheduled drop-off time, please allow at least 15 minutes to review all items with us. Only FALL & WINTER season newborn through child sizes up to 14/16 and maternity clothing in gently used condition will be accepted. (No Junior sizes will be accepted.) All clothes should be cleaned and mended with no holes, missing buttons, and working zippers with no stains. Toys should also be in good working condition with no missing pieces. We reserve the right to return any inappropriate items at drop-off. No tennis shoes, stuffed animals, or underwear.
Payment for Sellers: You have a choice of three options.
- Full donation to the preschool. (Donated items do not have to be tagged, please call/email as soon as possible so we have time to tag your items.)
- 50% donation to the preschool.
- 30% donation to the preschool.
There will be a $5.00 fee deducted to cover advertising and mailing costs. Payments will be mailed out by the end of October.
Important Information:
Hang all garments on wire hangers with hook facing left (looks like a question mark). Use safety pins where necessary to keep garments on hangers, such as coordinating accessories.- Tags should be made of cardstock fastened with a safety pin and go on the upper right side of the item.
- Please sort clothing according to size and gender before your drop-off appointment.
- An inventory list is not mandatory.
- Mark tag with NR (no reduction) after price if you do not want your items to be sold if ½ price on Saturday.
- Prices should be in 50 cent increments.
- Please put small items in a zip top bag with tags secured to the outside of the bag with masking tape on all sides of the tag. The opening should be closed with masking tape. Tie strings or pin shoes together. Any items with small pieces (such as games) should be put in to a bag and secured to the item.
- Check www.cpsc.gov to make sure that the toys you plan to sell are not on the recall list. Recalled toys will not be accepted.
