15 Snellville Businesses Evacuated Due To Gas Leak
- Crews found a strong odor of natural gas and an active leak on arrival.
- West Main Street was closed between Henry Clower Blvd and McGee Rd. Officials said they expect it to reopen by 10:30 am.
- 15 area businesses were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
- Power was cut to the immediate area by Walton EMC, to eliminate any potential for an ignition source.
- The leak was caused by a contracting crew digging near the roadway
