Snellville fireworks

UPDATE: I just got off the phone with Snellville First Baptist.  I confirmed that they are having their annual 4th of July events on the 4th of July itself, starting at 4:30 pm. Fireworks will begin when it gets dark (usually about 9 or 9:30 pm). All Sunday services will be held at the usual times of 9:30 and 11:00 am. There will be a special patriotic service at 5 pm.

 I apologize for the error in posting this about Snellville fireworks. Apparently it is old information. I will be calling Snellville First Baptist this morning to confirm when they will be having fireworks. Two people have left comments that the fireworks are on the 4th (Sunday), not Saturday. It does say the 4th on the church's website too (but sometimes even those can be out of date also!) So I'll check with the church today and I will re-post correct information.

It's one of those tricky dates this time - think of it as Independence Day, not the 4th of July, because the festivities will not take place on the 4th of July, they'll be on Saturday, July 3rd.

Join 104.7 TheFish, Snellville UMC, First Baptist Snellville and Westminster Presbyterian on July 3 from 5p to 9p. for some great 4th of July activities. The Snellville fireworks will take place on the campuses of First Baptist and Snellville UMC. This is a great community event which will include a car show, inflatables, food vendors and fireworks and ending with fireworks around 9:30p.
