Snellville Tourism & Trade Association invites you to join

When you first hear the name Snellville Tourism and Trade Association, it's natural that you might assume that it is an association of business owners. Not so! Anyone who cares about Snellville can join the Snellville Tourism & Trade Association (STAT). You don't have to live in Snellville or own a business to get involved.

STAT is a non-profit destination marketing organization (DMO), promoting tourist, business development and civic life in Snellville. STAT aims to market Snellville as a desirable destination for investors and visitors, producing quality and civic events to attract visitors and residents.

Does the word "Tourism" leave you scratching your head? Well, a tourist is anyone who visits Snellville but doesn't live here. When they come here and spend money, they're tourists - even without Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts and sunglasses. Visitors of any kind help the economy here in Snellville!

STAT would like to encourage anyone who can envision Snellville as a beautiful and growing center for Gwinnett County to join and invest in Snellville's future while celebrating and honoring the city's history.

Your membership investment in the Snellville Tourism and Trade Association will support the Board of Directors management team to market and promote Snellville. Membership will include invitations to networking, monthly and annual meetings. STAT will also have member newsletters and offer businesses representation on www.SnellvillePride.com (coming soon) and in an annual membership directory.

STAT brings the following great events to the city of Snellville: Summer Concerts on the Green (May through October); Snellville Farmers' Market (June through October); 4th of July Events (June through October); Snellville Fall Festival (3rd Saturday in October); Lighting of the City Christmas Tree, and the Snellville Days parade and festival in May.

Membership levels:
Individual: $50; Non-Profit Level: $100; Small Business Level (up to 10 employees): $150; Business Level (11+ employees) $250; Property Owner: $275; Patron: $500.

For more information about the Snellville Tourism & Trade Association, or to become involved, contact: Don Britt, STAT President - don@summitchasecccom or Kelly McAloon, Vice President - kelmca@comcast.net.
