The Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry (our local food bank) has helped many families through the summer months, and continues to help with back-to-school needs, thanks to local churches and groups who collected backpacks and back-to-school supplies for local families.
"In three days, 237 families came seeking assistance. We distributed over 8,500 pantry items, assisted with $10,800 towards utility bills and prescription meds, and assisted 240 children with back packs for school." Said Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative's Director, Laura Drake.
Thanks to everybody who helped with a generous spirit!
