Beatles tribute band Abbey Road LIVE to play in Snellville Oct 23

Abbey Road LIVE, a Beatles tribute band, will play in Snellville on October 23, 2010. The concert will be the culmination of a family friendly, fun-filled afternoon for all ages that will include children's activities, arts and crafts, and food. The fun will take place on the greenspace adjacent to Snellville City Hall, beginning at 1 pm and continuing until 9 p.m.  Abbey Road LIVE will take the stage at 7 p.m.

Check them out here - Aren't they gear?
Yeah, baby, yeah!!!

Abbey Road LIVE is a great band from Athens, Georgia - and it's important to note that  Abbey Road LIVE is a tribute band, not a re-creation band. They play great Beatles' music, but they aren't trying to recreate the Beatles. I am very excited, as this kind of thing is very much my bag, man! I will have to pull all my Beatles flair out of storage!

Cost: Mostly free - Some activities will require purchase of wrist-band/admission at a low cost.

Says Snellville Tourism & Trade Vice President Kelly McAloon, "From Kelly McAloon (VP of STAT):

"Abbey Road will be playing from 7-9pm. Fun filled day of events. DJ from 1-4 with line dancing in the street, band in the afternoon followed by Abbey Road from 7-9pm. There will be inflatables, pony rides, and petting zoo for the kids...and for the more daring there will be a Mechanical Bull and Rock Wall present. Start your holiday shopping early and visit the Arts and Crafts vendors. We will have local food vendors selling food all day. We invite Snellville to join the FUN on OCTOBER 23rd. from 1 - 9 pm."

Produced by the Snellville Tourism and Trade Association, Presented by Kaiser Permanente and sponsored by Anazao Salon.
