Snellville Senior Center accepting new memberships

If you haven't taken a tour of the Snellville Senior Center, you really should! I was surprised by all the great activities that go on there. You can become a member at age 50.

The Snellville Senior Center has started accepting memberships for 2011. Become a 2011 Senior Center member now and you’ll receive membership for the rest of 2010 free. The membership fee for City residents is only $15. Gwinnett County residents can join for $25.

The Senior Center is open Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. Regular activities and classes include aerobic and Pilates classes, walking club, canasta, bridge, crochet/knitting classes, computer classes, Spanish classes and bingo.

Special events and day trips are planned throughout the year. For more information, please visit the Senior Center page of the City’s website, call 770-985-3580 or visit the Senior Center at 2350 Oak Road (in the Snellville City Center complex, beside Snellville City Hall)
