New London Theatre Presents 'Nunsense'

The New London Theatre in Snellville will present Nunsense, February 11– 27, 2011.

The show involves a fund raiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by Sister Julia the convent cook.  Participating in the project are Mother Superior Mary Regina, a former circus performer who can not resist the spotlight; her competitive but dignified rival, second-in-command Sister Mary Hubert; Sister Robert Anne, a streetwise nun from Brooklyn; Sister Mary Leo, a novice who is determined to be the world's first ballerina nun; and childlike Sister Mary Amnesia, who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head.  With plenty of humor and “uplifting” musical performances, Nunsense is sure to please audiences of all ages. Entertainment Tonight says: "You don't have to be Catholic to love Nunsense!"
