February Events In Snellville

February 2 through 26th is National Groundhog Day Celebration at Yellow River Game Ranch.
General Beauregard Lee will make his annual weather prognostication. Yep, you guessed it, he's a groundhog. You really should see his plantation if you haven't yet. He has white pillars on his 'mansion' and even has his own mailbox and (gasp) Confederate Flag.

February 10 and 11: Valentines Dinner at the Gwinnett County Courthouse.
There's gonna be dinner, a disc jockey, photos and giveaways. You must make a reservation, and it's $75 per couple. Call 770-822-5450 to RSVP. No, I'm not sure if you can get married while you're there...but it IS a courthouse, so it never hurts to ask!

February 11th is the Theta Sigma Valentine's Dinner and Dance. It will benefit C.U.R.E. and will be held at the Atlanta Marriott at Gwinnett Place. Email karonb@bellsouth.net for more information about this event.

Febriaru 17-19tj tje Mew :
ok what the heck was that? My fingers got off of home row. Here we go again...

February 17-19th: the New London Theatre at South Gwinnett High School will perform the Twelve Dancing Princesses. Call 770-979-3691 for information. These plays are always great and are affordable.
If I recall correctly this is the fairy tale about the princesses that sneak out every night...their father notices that their slippers are always worn out every morning.

February 18th: The "Run the Reagan" events on Ronald Reagan Parkway in Snellville. This is your one chance to go running on Ronald Reagan Parkway without being smashed into a pedestrian-pancake. That's gotta be worth something. Visit the site at http://www.runthereagan.com There's a 10K, 5K, Mile Run, and Half Marathon.

There's more to share but I'll be back with that tomorrow.
