The Greater Gwinnett Rose Society will meet on Tuesday, February 2, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville. Mr. Tom Seibert will show new roses from Weeks Nursery.
The Greater Gwinnett Rose Society is open to anyone who enjoys roses and wants to learn more about them. The Rose Society meets at 7:00 PM on the first Tuesday of most months. For further information, contact Don Schwarz, President, at 770-979-4237, email berdks[AT]mindspring.com.
Rose Day is Saturday, March 7, from 9:00AM to 12:00 PM, at Bogan Park in Buford. This is the Greater Gwinnett Rose Society’s annual program to show people how to grow roses. They will have seminars on essential rose care. The society will also have hands-on demonstrations, handouts, and a great raffle. It’s a fun way to learn about growing roses in your garden. Please come to Bogan Park to meet other rose growers and learn about growing roses in the South.
