Rose Day 2010 to be held in Buford

Rose Day 2010

Saturday, February 27
9 am to 12 pm
Bogan Park, 2723 N. Bogan Road in Buford

This is the Greater Gwinnett Rose Society’s annual program to show people how to grow roses. There will be speakers on selecting a rose, planting, watering, feeding, spraying and pruning. We'll have a hands-on pruning demonstration and, finally, a huge raffle with many roses. Come learn about roses, win some roses, and have a great time. It’s a fun way to learn about growing roses in your garden. Please come to Bogan Park to meet other rose growers and learn about growing roses in the South.

The Greater Gwinnett Rose Society is open to anyone who enjoys roses and wants to learn more about them. We meet at 7 PM on the first Tuesday of most months. For further information, contact Don Schwarz, President, at 770 979-4237, email berdks@mindspring.com.

  1. Good Morning Snellville Blogger and thanks for your visit. I actually saw the scouts out there planting...kind of reminded me of my old 4-H days and all the projects we did. I was not aware of this blog but am becoming a follower. Hogs & Kisses- Piggy
