Harrell announces success in raising campaign funds

Edited from press release from Friends of Brett Harrell.

Brett Harrell (R-Snellville), candidate for State Representative, District 106, announced today that as of March 31st, over 200 individual supporters have contributed more than $40,000 to his campaign, without any loans or debt.

On his second campaign contribution disclosure report, Harrell reported raising a total of $42,161.00 with more than $30,000 cash on hand.

Among his most recent contributors are U.S. Congressman John Linder, Lt. Governor Casey Cagle, House Judiciary Chairman Wendell Willard and State Representative and Congressional candidate Tom Graves.

Harrell said, “It is a real honor to have such an outpouring of support for my candidacy. The investment made by so many is a true testament of the growing momentum for this campaign. The 200 people who have already donated and the 100’s who have committed to my campaign know that I have always delivered for those I represent and that I will continue to do so in Atlanta by working to solve the challenges we face.”

Harrell served as mayor of Snellville from 2000 until 2003. More recently, Harrell served as the executive director of the Evermore Community Improvement District (CID.)

District 106 includes the City of Snellville and parts of unincorporated Grayson and Lilburn in Gwinnett County.
