Did you know that even if you registered your phone number on the Federal Do Not Call List (www.donotcall.gov) that politicians can call you whenever and however many times that want to, just because they can. Political calls are exempt from the Federal DNC list. This means that there are few if any regulations that can keep politicians, unions, non-profits, and political action committees from calling you at dinner.
One of the fastest growing political communications is automated political phone calls (robocalls). In the 2008 election over 64% of all American voters received an automated political call. Some people received up to 37 phone calls in a single day.
