Donations sought to help Gunter family

Snellville Police Sgt. Ray Gunter and his wife Rene were involved in a motor vehicle crash when their motorcycle was struck by a vehicle turning left.  Both suffered serious fractures to both legs.   Due to complications, Sgt. Gunter's left leg had to be amputated.  He remains hospitalized and
faces more surgery.  He has had four to date.  Both Ray and Rene will be out of work for an extended time period.  Any donations to assist in their medical and living expenses will be greatly appreciated.

Donations can be made at the Snellville Farmers' Market information booth each Saturday morning.  Donations can also be made to the Snellville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization.   Checks should be made out to the SCPAAA with a notation that it is for Ray and Rene Gunter. All donations will go to Ray and Rene and can be mailed to the SCPAAA, P.O. Box 1203, Snellville, Ga 30078.
