Weekend events


Snellville Farmers' Market - Saturday, October 16th, 8 a.m. to noon on the green space adjacent to Snellville City Hall. Fresh from the farm vendors offering all kinds of vegetables and meats. Farm fresh eggs. Bring a shopping bag. There are only 3 Snellville Farmers' Market Saturdays left. Plenty of free parking at Snellville City Hall on Oak Road. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Edible Gardening and Preparing for Spring -  Saturday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. Family Tree Garden Center’s expert Nanci McClendon will offer valuable tips and advice on GROWING YOUR OWN GROCERIES.  Nanci will discuss everything from vegetable gardening to

South Gwinnett High School (Snellville) Drama Department presents Nerds, a one-act show, will be presented by South Gwinnett Drama Department students October 14-16th at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door. Read more>>

Autumn Heritage Festival - Saturday, October 16th. Festival to remind people of times when you could visit, eat, and shop downtown. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Loganville City Hall. Free. For more information, see AutumnHeritageFestival.com.

Pumpkin Festival - each weekend in October at Stone Mountain Park. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Admission included if you get the Adventure Park Pass for $27 (Adults, plus tax); $21 for children ages 3-11 (plus tax). $10 parking permit for Stone Mountain Park also needed.
