29th Annual Snellville Christmas Tree Lighting -
Saturday, December 4th, 2 p.m. -7 p.m. The event was moved to the first Saturday in December rather than the traditional first Monday in order to allow more children to attend. Santa will be set up in his “headquarters” on the City Hall Green where there will also be a Santa Train ride for the kids and a beautiful horse and carriage ride for mom and dad. [details]

Mall at Stonecrest - November 20th, Santa will arrive at noon. Special guest will be Spongebob Squarepants. Lithonia. Free.
Southeastern Railway Museum - Santa will arrive by train on November 20th at 1:30 p.m. Professional photographer on hand or you can take your own photos. 3595 Buford Hwy, Duluth Ga. Tickets: Adults, $8, Kids ages 2-12, $6. Children under age 2 are free.
