Bishop Watson of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church has announced new church appointments. Rev. Jim Cantrell, the current district superintendent of the Atlanta Emory District, will be moving to Snellville United Methodist Church to serve as Senior Minister.
Dr. Jim Cantrell will begin on June 26. Dr.Richard Hunter will be assigned to another church in the metro Atlanta area that to be announced after May 15th. "Meri and I will miss our friends and connections here," said Dr. Hunter. "We have been very blessed!" Dr. Hunter's last Sunday at Snellville United Methodist Church will be June 19.
