If you live inside the city limits of Snellville, you'll be receiving a new outdoor trash container and recycling bin soon. That's because the city chose Waste Pro as the new refuse collection agency. The changeover to the new company will officially take place on July 1st, but in the meantime, they're getting the containers distributed. This means that for a little while, you'll have two trash cans. Keep using your old one until June 30th. On your last regular pick up day in June, the previous trash collection company will collect the containers. So, be sure to put your old containers by the curb on your last pick up day this month, whether you have anything in it or not. There will be no change in pick up days. Just start using the new containers in July.
If you have any questions about this, you can contact the City of Snellville by phone at 770-985-3527, website contact form or e-mail.Office hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The email address for the staff assistant, Tracey Glass, is tglass@snellville.org
