Sick and tired of being sick and tired

I am living on hot tea with honey in it. I have lost 2 pounds so far. What a great diet plan...

I lost about 5 pounds recently when my 4 year old had the stomach flu and then my 2 year old got the stomach flu, and then I got the stomach flu.

Now I either have a really bad cold or the regular type of flu. My nose has been going like a faucet for the last 2 days. Took Benadryl 'religiously' every 4 hours and last night, in desperation, I tried saline nose drops. They helped a little bit. I woke up really early because it was hard to breathe and my throat hurts.

So, more tea and honey.

When I lose my voice, the whole family will celebrate!

I did get my flu shot 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure if it was in time, but this video says that if you do get the flu shot and you get the flu, your symptoms will be lessened. Maybe that is why, although I have been feeling horrible, I haven't had the aches and pains that I usually have when I have the 'flu.'

I need to do some online research and find more places where people can get their flu shot.
If you are on Medicare, your doctor will give you the flu shot for free (verify this with your doctor, but from what I can tell, this is accurate)

Strangely, when I was well, I noticed a drop-off in art clients and inquiries into portraits - I was getting a little concerned about that, and now that I'm sick, I have people emailing and calling all the time about portraits! It's weird how that works.
