For Snellville City Council Post 1, Kelly Kautz was the victor, with 1,230 votes. Marilyn Swinney had a decent showing with 951 votes.

I am absolutely disappointed by our low voter turnout yesterday. 2,000 people out of 11,000??? I certainly hope to not hear any of them complaining for the next 4 years!

Oh there will be plenty of complaining, I'm sure - it's so easy to gripe and not do anything. The easy way out is always to blame someone else, right?
