A couple years ago, I did get a scare when I received a Certified Mail letter regarding my daughter's attendance at Snellville Middle School. It seems my darling daughter never turned in the notes I wrote to get her absences excused!
I received a letter that threatened jail time. I've never trusted my kids to turn in attendance notes since then. I always mail mine in now! So at least one of us learned something there.
