Who lives here?

According to the real estate resource website, Zillow.com, Snellville residents are unique because:
  • A higher number of Snellville residents did not complete college.
  • There's a higher percentage who are self-employed in an incorporated business. (This relates to the previous statement - Snellville residents are a little more entrepreneurial minded. I like that!)
  • There's a higher percentage who work in sales and related occupations.
Zillow also says that Snellville has mainly:

1. People who are on 'Easy Street' (high income suburban couples without children).
"Middle-aged married couples living a comfortable life in suburbia with no dependents. A majority are homeowners."

2. Affluent DINKS: Double Income No Kids - in Suburbia
"Middle-age Dual Income No Kids couple bringing in two attractive incomes. Most are highly educated and are employed in management professions. A high proportion are homeowners."

3. Home Aloners: Single suburban homeowners
"More than 75% of these pre-middle-age to middle-age singles own their homes. Income ranges from lower to middle. Education varies from high school or lower to college."

Note that their data comes from the 2000 U.S. Census.
