GWINNETT COUNTY, GA-- Gwinnett County and 15 cities are now on a list that prevents them from receiving any state funding, loans or permits as they continue ...The cities involved are: Auburn , Berkeley Lake, Buford, Dacula, Duluth, Grayson, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Loganville, Norcross, Rest Haven, Snellville, Sugar Hill, Suwanee and Braselton.
Now, in the toughest sanction to date, Gwinnett County and 15 cities are listed with the state as no longer eligible as a "Qualified Local Government". That means any state money, grants, loans or even permits will not be passed on to those goverments until they work out an acceptable Service Delivery Strategy.
