The Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry again has an urgent need for food and money donations. As you can see in the photo, the shelves are pretty bare. I have visited the food bank just recently when these shelves were full! It's hard to believe how empty they are, but a picture does say a thousand words.
This past Thursday alone, the food bank helped 76 families meet their most basic food needs. The Southeast Gwinnett Co-op will not be able to open their doors Monday morning unless they have food donations. Volunteers of the food bank will arrive on Monday morning at 9 am to accept all food donations.
Thank you so much if you can help by donating food for funds. Donations can be made online at the Southeast Gwinnett Co-op's website and donations are tax deductible.
PS: You can be sure that your donations are given to people who REALLY need them. That's something I think is great about the Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry, they check out and interview the people asking for help, to make sure there is a valid need.
