Sad news about Snellville Snail
We do not know yet what kind of salt it was, it could have been Kosher salt or Sea Salt from a box, it could have been ice cream salt, or even regular salt out of a shaker. Though generally considered healthy, even Sea Salt is considered dangerous to snails. (Why is that stuff even legal?!?)
We do know that Snaily had a lifelong fear of salt, after a close brush with a margarita glass in the mid 1970's when Emmett Clower was Mayor of Snellville.
Please stay tuned to this blog for further updates on Snaily's condition. Our thoughts and prayers are with Snaily and his wife, (appropriately named) Shelly.

Was Warren Auld holding the margarita glass that a-salted Snaily? Apparently Auld believes in drinking in Grayson, but not in Snellville.
ReplyDeleteIf Snaily doesn't make it, perhaps next year's symbol can be Warren the Weasel.
