City Manager Russell Treadway presented the city’s fourth quarter financial report Monday.“This was a break-even year” because capital projects were postponed, said Treadway. The Sanitation Fund is still a concern, because it has a negative fund balance. The city’s fund balance is much lower than it should be, another concern for Treadway. “We’re OK for now, but we need to get better, and soon.”

Snellville's sanitation fund has negative balance
If you can read between the lines or if you're an amateur fortune-teller like myself, you may think that our sanitation billing situation may change sometime in the future. Clearly, the money's got to come from somewhere.
