Great Days of Service in the Community

Friday, October. 1st  and Saturday, October 2nd, Snellville United Methodist Church will participate in Gwinnett Great Day of Service to the community. Those with the interest and skills to help are encouraged to help.

There are several projects available. If you would like to view the list of projects and/or sign-up for projects, please click here.  You can volunteer for one or both days. There are even more projects to choose from listed on the site and members from the congregation are heading up the following projects:
  • Family Promise - Project #21 - 24 - painting and yard work - Pat and Will Hargrove
  • Cleaning Buckets* - Bill Kingsbury - click here to learn more about Cleaning Buckets
  • John Wesley Church - Project #42 - yard work - William Alsabrook
  • Parkwood Farms - Project #57 & 58 - construct a bridge and yard work - Bob Nunn
  • Old Snell House - Project #66 - (parsonage) painting - Linda and Ted Larson
  • SE Coop - Project #65 - staining a deck - Cliff Hagan
*The Cleaning Bucket Project (formerly the Flood Bucket Project) does not have a Project Number.  All interested volunteers will need to sign up with Bill Kingsbury at (770) 826-2586 or Bob Hapner at (678) 725-5752. 

Projects run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  After you sign up, please show up at your job site (not the church) at 9 a.m.
