Kaiser Permanente in Snellville opened to serve the medical needs of the public September 30, and a a grand opening and ribbon cutting was held this morning.
Kaiser Permanente renovated the old Blockbuster Video building for their 7,500 square foot facility, located at 2240 Fountain Drive near Highway 78. The Snellville practice is the company's 4th location in Georgia.
Staffed by physicians of The Southeast Permanente Medical Group, the Snellville Medical Office offers adult medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, radiology and lab services. It also has an on-site pharmacy.
Former Snellville mayor (and now our soon-to-be Georgia House Representative) Brett Harrell said, he was "honored to welcome Kaiser Permanente to their newest medical facility at a ribbon cutting today."
The opening represents an over 2-million-dollar investment and eleven jobs.
For Snellville, Loganville, and Grayson residents with Kaiser Permanente insurance, it means the convenience of not having to drive all the way to Duluth Ga. to go to see a Kaiser physician.
