City of Snellville shares some survey results

The Town Center Survey closed February 18th and 1,031 surveys were completed. The online survey was taken by residents and friends of Snellville.

According to the city, one of the most sought-after types of destination store identified in the survey was a Trader Joe’s/Whole Foods with 81 responses. An additional 30 respondents identified a grocery
store as a preferred type. 143 respondents suggested that additional restaurants were
needed.

Many respondents described the downtown Snellville of the future as a destination spot. Several others said it should be pedestrian friendly, with connecting parks and green spaces. Other words contributed include: charming, sparkling, homey, bustling, multi-faceted, quaint, crowded, cozy and profitable.

The city shared that the oldest survey respondent was over age 91 and the youngest surveyed was younger than age 8.

Close to half the survey respondents were between the ages of 46 and 66. Nearly a quarter of the survey respondents were between the ages of 31 and 45.
