This presentation will cover the structure of the VA and a brief description of each benefit available through the VA. From Pension to Compensation, as well as burial benefits. The focus will be to learn what to expect and clear the misunderstandings of the VA, as well as the benefits available.
The presentation will take place on Saturday, March 19 at 10:15 a.m. at SarahCare of Snellville, 1567 Janmar Road, Suite 200, Snellville Ga 30078.
Timothy Holman, Elderly Vet Coordinator with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Holman has been with the VA for 39 years. He was a benefits counselor and currently a legal administrative specialist.
" In order to serve our Elderly Veterans and their Widows with Continuum of Care options, we are having a representative from the Department of Veteran Affairs to inform our community of Veteran Benefits. Many Veterans and their dependents are not aware of the benefits available through the VA." Said SarahCare of Snellville's operator, Aysha Cooper.
