Free Workshop series offered by Covenant Counseling and Family Resource Center

Westminster Presbyterian Church has partnered with Snellville’s Covenant Counseling and Family Resource Center for a series of upcoming workshops on issues facing children and youth, parenting, relationships and more.

Topics covered will be bullying, the five love languages, communication, addiction, and sexting, texting, and Facebooking.  All workshops are open to the community and free of charge. Each facilitator is a trained, certified counselor who employed by Covenant Counseling, presenting in their various areas of expertise.

Workshops will take place on Wednesdays, April 13-May 11, from 6:45-7:45 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2208 East Main Street, Snellville 30078. Click here to read more information about each workshop.

"Westminster Presbyterian Church has been blessed by our partnership with Covenant Counseling and Family Resource Center's partnership with us for many years.  Jaye Peabody is the director of the center.  I asked her if they would be interested in doing a series for our community hosted by our congregation and said we'd love to have several of her staff participate so that people can get to know them and their respective fields," said Westminster Church's Associate Pastor Nicole Lock.  "These are the topics the center suggested, based on what they see as some of the top issues people face today.  I think it is going to be a great series.  We are grateful for series and the many ways the CCFRC helps our community."

The workshops are “stand-alone,” one-session workshops, so you can pick and choose the workshops that appeal to you.  For more information, contact Nicole Lock at 770-979-9676, extension 224.
