Patriotic Celebrations in and near Snellville

Sunday, July 3:

Snellville First Baptist Church - American Celebration. Begins at 5 p.m. on July 3.
Inflatable rides & games for children. Food vendors. Celebration is followed by fireworks show. Snellville Police will be on hand to help citizens cross Highway 78 to enjoy festivities on the Snellville Town Green (see below)

Snellville Town Green - Star-Spangled Snellville celebration (via Snellville Tourism and Trade Association) - Variety of musicians from the community. Snellville First Baptist Church's Celebration Orchestra will perform. Bring blankets/lawn chairs and enjoy the excellent fireworks display.

Lawrenceville Fireworks - Lawrenceville will celebrate on July 3, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Gwinnett County Historic Courthouse, 185 West Crogan Street, Lawrenceville
The event will feature the Aurora Theater's "Beauty and the Beast" selections and fireworks. Free seating on the lawn, table and catered dinner for six is $125. If you go, note that alcohol is prohibited at the courthouse. For more information, call 678-226-269.



Monday, July 4:

Fireworks - Oasis Church, Loganville GA will have events all day, culminating with fireworks display. 3 p.m. until dark. Oasis Church is located 1 mile south of Highway 78 on Highway 81 in Loganville, Georgia. Address: 3275 Tig Knight Road, Loganville, GA 30052

The City of Lilburn will host a free 4th of July concert followed by fireworks in City Park, located at 76 Main Street, Lilburn GA 30047. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. on the 4th with the band StratoGeezer opening and The Surge! headlining the show.  Both bands specialize in the sounds of summer -- surf music. StratoGeezer, hailing from Norcross, regularly performs around the Atlanta area, including at the Peachtree Road Race and the Sweetwater Brewing Company. The Surge! is a hometown band based in Lilburn. Attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs and a picnic supper for a fun, laid-back 4th of July Celebration.
