Firefighters arrived at the split-level home in the 4000 block of Valley Brook Road at 3:32 a.m. and found heavy flames and smoke at the rear of the home, said Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman Eric Eberly.
Firefighters found the homeowner outside of the burning house and treated him for "moderate" burns, Eberly said. The man was transported to Eastside Medical Center in Snellville for further treatment. His identity was not immediately available. [Source: AJC. Read more]
