Monday, December 3rd will be the 26th Annual lighting of the Christmas Tree in Snellville.
The tree lighting will take place at Snellville City Hall, not at Briscoe Park as done in previous years. Time: 7-9 pm. It will be on the lawn on City Hall. Just look for the big honkin' tree. No it won't actually be honking, that's just an expression of its largeness. Poor choice of words perhaps.
Enjoy music from several local schools and Santa will stop by so the children can visit and have a photo made. Parents FYI: there is usually a cost for the Santa pictures.
The Snellville Keenager Club will be hosting refreshments in the Community Room....the refreshments are complimentary.
Also, representatives from Toys for Tots will be there, collecting toys for Christmas. Be sure and put this on your calendar and join us for an evening full of fun!
