This happened at a Wal-Mart in West Virginia. They think the scorpion hitched a ride with the melons from Mexico. The girl's okay.About 12 years ago, we had a scorpion in our living room. I wonder if it came in with some produce, but they can also come in when you bring in firewood.
My daughter was about a year and a half old, and was on the floor and started crying, that's when I saw the scorpion. I'm ashamed to say that I froze. I literally could not move. Hubs killed it. I think that if it happened again, I would be able to react appropriately. I was just so frightened for my daughter.
I hate scorpions, spiders, and any stuff that crunches when you kill it. Brrr!
