24% proposed Snellville property tax hike

A huge decision that affects everyone in Snellville, but we are just now hearing about this. Short notice and a Council Meeting to vote on the matter will occur earlier than usual. I will let you draw your own conclusions about this.

"But even if SPLOST money is used to foot the bill for the property, the deal comes as the city faces a $1.1 million shortfall, Jenkins said. To balance the budget, the council tonight will vote on a proposed 24 percent property tax rate hike."
