“You went to Betty when you had a question, because she was a one-stop shop,” said Emmett Clower, a former city mayor. “When (residents) went in to ask a question, that’s who they saw for several years.”
McMichael died Friday at the age of 79. Her funeral is scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, 3705 U.S. Highway 78 W., Snellville. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
