Can you use your index finger to click "Like" on Facebook to help our library system win? Sure ya can! After all, when the library wins, we all win, because we can enjoy the use of the books without paying for them with our tax dollars. You know Gwinnett County Public Libraries are in a budget crunch, and this is a simple way to help.
Publisher John Wiley & Sons has launched a national contest to celebrate its 20th Anniversary of their For Dummies publications.
The public library with the most Facebook Fans on their ‘For Dummies’ page at midnight, on April 30th, 2011 wins.
To help our library system win, all you need to do is go to “Gwinnett Library For Dummies Fan Page” on Facebook and from your Facebook account, click on “LIKE.” The link to the page can be found towards the bottom of the GCPL webpage: www.gwinnettpl.org. Or use http://tinyurl.com/gcplwin (feel free also to share this short link on Twitter).
Vote today and spread the word. It looks like the library will have to receive over 2,000 ‘LIKES’ to pull ahead of the current leader in this contest.
