Norton Elementary parents upset that teacher's contract not renewed

I would give Gwinnett County Schools poor marks in this case for bad timing and communication. It's not brilliant to have worried children and then expect them to do well on tests. However, these parents say their kids are "traumatized." I can't help but think that maybe these parents should take a trip to Joplin MO to help with tornado clean up efforts to learn what real traumatized kids look like.

SNELLVILLE — Some parents at Norton Elementary School said the unfair treatment of a fifth-grade teacher has ruined the end of the year for their children.
