An altercation occurred between two people at a Spruce Circle address. A man was holding his 2 year old daughter and an argument took place. The man holding the child was shot and the toddler was also shot. For some reason, the injured man drove to the Walgreen's store on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, and from there they went to the hospital to receive care.
It just strikes me as really strange. If you are familiar with Spruce Circle, it's one of the streets just off of Highpoint Road, where all the duplex rental properties are. If they drove from there to Pleasant Hill Road, I would assume they took Ronald Reagan Parkway. They would have passed right by Eastside Medical Center. They also would have passed by several drugstores like Rite Aid and the Walgreens store right here in Snellville.
I suppose that he drove to Walgreen's in Duluth because it's a 24-hour store, and maybe he planned to try to take care of the injuries himself to avoid involving the police, who undoubtedly would have some questions.
