Joint lawsuit filed in attempt to stop Sunday liquor sales in Snellville

Snellville Mayor Jerry Oberholtzer posted to his Facebook page yesterday that-
"Robert Jenkins, Donald Denny, John Doster, Jerry Downs, Kenneth Hood, Robert Lane Jr, Dwight McCart and Mary Kay Payne have filed a joint lawsuit to prevent the City from issuing Sunday Sales licenses. This is a frivolous lawsuit aimed to slow progress and harm our local restaurants. This matter will be heard Monday morning by Gwinnett Superior Court. The City is on firm legal ground and I feel confident this matter will be dealt with swiftly and appropriately."

What do you think - is the lawsuit frivolous or does it have any merit at all? I think the only winners in anything in Snellville are the lawyers!

Absolutely infantile. The eight of you should be put in "time out!"
