Gloria Hardegree, Executive Director of the Georgia Recycling Coalition, presented Snellville Public Works Director Gaye Johnson and department employee Greg Rucker with GRC's Green Award for recycling and waste reduction.
The award, presented during a city council meeting on December 13, was also presented in honor of the employees and citizens of Snellville who care and have supported Snellville's recycling efforts.
The award was made of - what else? Recycled green glass.
