Food Bank Requests Specific Donation Items

The Southeast Cooperative Ministry (our local food bank) is facing a critical need for food.  In an effort to streamline collection efforts and make sure the most needed food items are collected, the food bank is trying something new. Groups and churches are asked to bring a specific needed item.

If you are a member of one of the following churches, please consider bringing the item listed next to your church's name. You can bring your donation to the food bank or drop it off at your church. Even if you're not a member of any of these churches, if you are near one of them you can drop your donation off there.

Cannon United Methodist Church - Canned vegetables, canned beans
Community of Grace Church - Soups
Grayson United Methodist Church - Peanut butter and jelly
Redeemer Presbyterian - Macaroni and cheese
Snellville First Baptist Church - Pasta sauce and pasta
Snellville United Methodist Church - Cereal and tuna
Westminster Presbyterian Church - Canned fruit
Zoar United Methodist Church - Crackers

Other interested churches or organizations, please contact the food bank at ldrake@segwinnettcoop.org to find out what is most needed, and one or two specific items can be assigned to your church.
