Snellville Area Spring Soccer Registration

Registration for girls and boys soccer for ages 3 through 19 will begin on  Saturday, Jan. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at T.W. Briscoe Park in Snellville and  on Jan. 22 and 29 at Creekside Sports Center in Loganville.

Creekside Sports Center is located at 3237 Krisam Creek Drive, Loganville, Ga 30052.  T. W. Briscoe Park is located at 2500 Sawyer Parkway Snellville, Ga 30078 (just off Lenora Church Road)

Youth Soccer

There are a few spaces left in a couple of the age divisions for Youth Soccer, so please

Adult Spring Softball

Adult softball registration runs through February 19 with league play beginning on March 2. Each team will play an 8 game regular season with a single elimination tournament at the end. The leagues include Men’s Open, Industrial, Church and Co-ed. Call (770) 985-3535 for more

Snellville notes

Alta Ridge Way and Sandra Drive in Snellville will be resurfaced. The scheduled date for this is March 30, 2010.

SGHS Senior's Essay Chosen as Semi-Finalist

William Carson, a South Gwinnett High School senior, has been chosen as a Semifinalist in the Ayn Rand Institute’s 2008 Fountainhead essay contest.

William’s essay was chosen out of 5,000 that were submitted! Meg Sullivan, Education Department
Coordinator of the Ayn Rand Institute stated of William’s essay, “your award is certainly a major accomplishment.”

Additionally, William participated in the Georgia PTA Reflections Program this year, and
his poem "WOW" won first place in his category.

Registration for Spring Youth Soccer at Briscoe

Registration for spring youth soccer will begin for returning fall players ONLY on October 20 and continue through December 5.

A special Saturday registration will be held for returning fall players on October 25 from 9 am to Noon at the Briscoe Park Office.

For registering early, you will receive a $5 discount per registration and a free Snellville Soccer car magnet.
