I've often thought about getting a metal detector (or two)...seems like a fun family activity. Today I found a post on a treasure hunting message board that seems to indicate that metal detecting is forbidden at Briscoe Park in Snellville. I don't know why it would be forbidden - unless it is because people would be digging here and there. Can anybody give me the 'heads up' on this?
